1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, tablet or phone) when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, to remember your preferences and — with your consent — to measure how the site is used. Similar technologies (localStorage, pixels, SDKs of embedded services) are covered by this policy as well and are referred to collectively as "cookies".

2. Legal basis

We use strictly necessary cookies on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functional website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and the ePrivacy rules implemented in Act CVIII of 2001 in Hungary). All other cookies — in particular analytics and embedded third-party media — are used only with your prior, freely given consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give or refuse via the cookie banner. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.

3. Cookies we set

Strictly necessary. These cannot be switched off in our systems because the site cannot function without them. They do not store any personally identifiable information beyond what is technically required.

4. Third-party services

Some pages embed third-party content that may set its own cookies once loaded: Calendly (demo scheduling; Calendly LLC, USA — loaded only on the contact page), Google Fonts (font delivery; when loaded from Google servers, your IP address is transmitted to Google), and Mailchimp (newsletter delivery; The Rocket Science Group LLC, USA — a cookie may be set when you interact with subscription confirmations). Transfers to the USA take place under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses, as applicable. 5. Managing cookies in your browser

Beyond our banner, you can delete or block cookies in your browser settings (see the "cookies" section of your browser's help: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site, for example language selection.

6. Retention

Each cookie is retained for the period indicated in the table below, after which it expires automatically. Consent records are retained for 6 months, after which the banner is displayed again.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection regarding personal data processed via cookies, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Hungary the NAIH (Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság, naih.hu), or the authority of your habitual residence.
